Damon helps Elena after she crashes her car

[Elena sees a man in the middle of the road. She slams on her brakes but hits the man. Her car rolls over and over. She is stuck in her seat. The man somehow recovers and starts walking towards her car. Elena screams. The man runs away. A second later, Damon appears.]

ELENA: Ah!

DAMON: How ya doing in there? ELENA: Damon? DAMON: You look stuck. ELENA: It's my seatbelt. I can't get it. DAMON: Let me get you out of there. I want you to put your hands on the roof. Just like that. You ready? 1, 2, 3. [Damon ejects her seatbet] I got you. [Damon picks up Elena.] Are you ok? Can you stand? Is anything broken?

ELENA: Uh-uh.

[Damon puts Elena down but she can barely stand. Damon catches her before she falls to the ground.] DAMON: Whoa, you're fading fast, Elena. Elena, look at me. [Damon grabs her face] Focus. Look at me. Ok. ELENA: I look like her...

DAMON: What?

[Elena faints. Damon grabs her and slowly puts her on the ground. He brushes her face with his hand.]

DAMON: Upsy-daisy.

[Damon picks her up and carries her away.]

Fool Me Once

Elena asks Damon to trust her by taking off her necklace

Damon: I'm gonna have to change the locks. You stage a jailbreak?

[Damon picks up the grimoire.]

Elena: Stefan.

Damon: Ah, brother. Ever the white knight.

Elena: I convinced Bonnie to help you.

Damon: I doubt that.

[Elena walks around the edge of the study towards the stairs, leading to the sunken part of the room where Damon is.]

Elena: I'm not gonna say that I'm sorry we got the grimoire without you last night, because I'm not really.

Damon: Well, at least you're honest.

Elena: I was protecting the people I love, Damon. But so were you, in your own, twisted way. And as hard as it is to figure, we're all on the same side, after the same thing.

[Elena descends the stairs.]

Damon: Not interested.

[Damon starts to leave.]

Elena: Yes you are, because you were willing to work with us yesterday.

Damon: [turns around] Fool me once, shame on you.

Elena: Okay, when we were in Atlanta, why didn't you use your compulsion on me?

[Damon places the grimoire on a table and walks towards Elena, crossing his arms.]

Damon: Who's to say I didn't?

Elena: You didn't. I know you didn't. But you could have. You and I... we have something. An understanding. And I know that my betrayal hurt you, different from how it is with you and Stefan, but I'm promising you this now, I will help you get Katherine back.

Damon: [groans, unconvinced] I wish I could believe you.

[Elena unclasps her necklace, takes it off, and holds it in her hand, showing it to Damon.]

Elena: Ask me if I'm lying now.

[Elena places the necklace down on a table and waits for Damon to respond.]

Damon: You know Anna won't stop, by the way, no matter what I do.

Elena: Then we'll deal with it.

[Damon picks up Elena's necklace and clasps it back around her neck.]

Damon: I didn't compel you in Atlanta because we were having fun. I wanted it to be real. I'm trusting you. Don't make me regret it.

Under Control

Damon talks to Elena about Jeremy and gives her a rose

Elena: Have you noticed what your brother has been up to?

Damon: No, I have been too preoccupied with yours

(She looks at him)

Damon: Jeremy has been asking questions about Vicki Donovan’s death

Elena: He knows that her death was ruled an overdose

Damon: Really? “Oh but sheriff, someone buried her. Who would do that?” I know I know! Me! I mean I could compel him but he’s wearing vervain

Elena: No, I don’t want you to compel him.

Damon: If he keeps asking questions…

Elena: Damon, no I’m serious. I’m not going to do that to him again. I'll handle it.

(Damon takes a rose and gives it to her)

Damon: Okay. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

(She takes the rose, they look at each other and he leaves)

Miss Mystic Falls

Damon steps in for Stefan, and dances with Elena

(Damon looks for Stefan. Elena goes down the stairs and looks for Stefan but she doesn’t see him. Damon takes Stefan’s place to escort Elena. She smiles and rejoins him)

Elena: Where is Stefan?

Damon: I don’t know

(He takes her hand and they rejoins the others girls and their escorts outside)

Jenna: What is she doing with Damon?

Alaric: I have no idea.

Elena: What are we gonna do?

Damon: Right now, we just have to get through this.

(The girls and their escorts begin to dance. Elena and Damon dance, they look at each other and smile. The dance ends)

Under Control

Elena asks Damon to come over to discuss Stefan's behavior

Elena: Oh good you’re here

Damon: You ask I come. I’m easy like that.

(Elena points upstairs. Damon sees Jeremy eating in the kitchen.)

Damon (loud): No Elena, I will not go to your bedroom with you.

(She catches his arm. He laughs and go upstairs with her. Jeremy looks at them. Elena and Damon enter her bedroom)

Damon: Ah, just like I remember.

Elena: Stop messing around

(He lays on her bed and takes the teddy bear with him)

Damon: Did you know that your uncle has been kicking it with the Founder's Council?

Elena: What?

Damon: Yep

Elena: Perfect, we’ll just add it to the growing list of how everything is falling apart.

(Damon looks at the broken lamp)

Damon: What happened right there?

Elena: Uh… nothing

(She seems uncomfortable. He looks at her.)

Elena: Look Damon, I’m worried about Stefan. He says that everything’s okay but he’s clearly struggling. How long is it gonna take before he goes back to normal?

Damon: A few days. Give or take.

Elena: It’s been a few days.

Damon: Give then, I don’t know. What’s the big deal?

(He gets up and gives her the teddy bear)

Elena: He’s not himself, Damon

(Damon is going toward the piece of furniture, opens the drawer and looks in it)

Damon: Well, maybe his problem is that he has spent too long not being himself

(He takes a bra from the drawer. Elena takes it from him and put it back in the drawer)

Elena: Please don’t make me sorry for asking you

(He takes a picture from the mirror; she tries to take it back)

Damon: It is what it is Elena. The Stefan you know was “good behavior Stefan”, ‘reign it in Stefan”, “fight against his nature into an annoying excessive level Stefan” but if you think there isn’t another part to this then you have not been paying attention.

(Elena takes back the picture)

Elena: He’s not you, not even close.

Damon: Well, he doesn’t want to be me. That doesn’t mean that deep down that he’s not.



Let The Right One In

Damon comforts Elena after he finds out that Stefan has been kidnapped by the tomb vampires

ELENA: What happened? Where is he?

DAMON: They have him. I can't get in.

ELENA: Why not?

DAMON: Because the woman who owns the house is compelled to not let me in.

ELENA: I can get in.

DAMON: You're not going in there.

ELENA: I'm going!

DAMON: You're not going in there.

ELENA: Why are they doing this? What do they want with him?

DAMON: Revenge. They want revenge.

ELENA: We gotta do something.

DAMON: I know.

ELENA: We can't let them hurt him. We gotta get him out of there.

DAMON: I know. Elena, I know. But I don't know how to get him out.



Lost Girls

Damon Taunts Elena 

Damon: You're afraid of me. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess. Stefan finally fessed up.

Elena: Stay away from me.

Damon: Hey, there's no need to be rude. I'm just looking for Stefan. May I come in? Oh, wait. Of course I can. I've been invited. We can cut to the chase if you want. I'm not gonna kill you right now. That wouldn't serve my greater agenda. So... Where's Stefan?

Elena: He's out looking for Vicki.

Damon: Don't look at me with those judgey little eyes. Girl's gonna thank me for what I did to her.

Elena: Did you thank Katherine?

Damon: Mmm. Got the whole life story, huh?

Elena: I got enough.

Damon: Oh, I doubt that. Tell my brother I'm looking for him. Oh, tip for later, be careful who you invite in the house.



Haunted

Damon and Elena have confrontation after Vicki dies

Damon:You should go. I got this.

Elena:You did this. This is your fault.

Damon:You confuse me for someone with remorse.

(Elena tries to hit Damon but he grabs her hand and stops her.)

Damon:None of this matters to me,None of it.

Elena:People die around you. How could it not matter? It matters, and you know it.

(She hits him.)

Damon:You need to leave. Your wounds are bleeding and you need to leave.

Children of the Damned

Damon asks Elena if he can trust Stefan

[Elena walks back into the kitchen to gather more dinnerware. Damon pauses briefly before changing the topic.]

Damon: Is it real?

Elena: Is what real?

Damon: This renewed sense of brotherhood. [He takes the spoon out of the pot and tastes the sauce] Can I trust him?

Elena: [looks boldly at him] Yes, you can trust him.

[Elena walks back to the table to place the napkins. Damon vamp-speeds over to her. Elena turns around and looks up at him.]

Damon: Can I trust him?

Elena: I'm wearing vervain, Damon. It's not going to work.

Damon: I'm not compelling you. I just want you to answer me. Honestly.

Elena: Of course you can.



A Few Good Men

Damon gets Elena to button up his shirt

Elena: Stefan.

Damon: Better. Me.

[Damon walks out of the bathroom, without a shirt on.]

Elena: You look, um...

Damon: Dashing? Gorgeous? Irresistible?

[Damon walks across the room, closing the space between him and Elena. Elena pushes him back when he gets uncomfortably close.]

Elena: Wrecked. You look wrecked.

Damon: No reason why. Do you know that I am one of Mystic Falls' most eligible bachelors?

Elena: Huh.

Damon: Yep.

Elena: How are you doing?

Damon: Never better. Yep.

[He puts on a button up shirt.]

Damon: What can I do for you? I'm a barrel of favors today. It's my newfound purpose -- how can I help people?

Elena: I'm just meeting Stefan. We're going to the fundraiser.

[Damon struggles to button up his shirt, but is too drunk to do so. He turns around, looking at Elena.]

Damon: Help a guy out, will you? Can't get this.

[Elena sighs and walks over to Damon. She grabs the front of his shirt and begins buttoning it up.]

Elena: So I found out who my birth mother is.

Damon: Eccch. Who cares?

[Elena looks at him, hurt.]

Damon: She left you. She sucks.

[Elena and Damon exchange glances for a moment, then Elena looks over Damon's shoulder and smiles.]

Elena: Stefan. There you are.

[Elena walks over to Stefan. Stefan smiles at her. Damon starts to put his jacket on.]

Damon: Uhh. I need a bigger jacket. Wow. You know, an occasional sorority girl might, um, you know, help fill you out a little bit.

[Damon throws the jacket onto Stefan's bed and leaves the room.]

Elena: He's fine.

Stefan: He's Damon.

Season 4 Finale

Wow! What a fantastic episode!

I recognize that the Season 4 finale was almost completely biased toward Delena fans, but I can't help but be incredibly happy about the events that took place.  These were the events that I was most excited about.  

1. Sire bond is gone, and Elena confessed her love for Damon.  

2. Jeremy is back!!

3. Klaus let Tyler go.  

I don't think I can even touch on the Silas/Stefan story.  It is just too strange and weird to try and decipher.  I am still not sure I even understand what was happening.  Obviously, season 5 will be Silas running around and posing as Stefan.  Who knows what we are going to see?  I am hoping that Damon is the one to figure out things aren't quite right and save Stefan.  

I couldn't stop thinking about who Elena would pick in the weeks leading up to the finale.  I spent everyday researching all about the triangle between the trio.  I wanted to know more about what Julie Plec, and the actors said about the love triangle.  It was hard to decipher, because no one is ever satisfied.  People take Julie's words to mean different things, so all I could do was wait.  I was nervous that it would be Stefan, like Damon, I was so used to Elena rejecting him.  She continuously picked Stefan... why would this be any different?  

I screamed when she said she loved him, and he moved toward her.  He kissed her in that Damon way (I have never seen any guy kiss the way Ian Somerhalder kisses) that we all love.  There was nothing better than that.  It was almost worth the full four season wait.  

Jeremy is back!  This was exciting, because there were so many rumors going around that neither Steven McQueen, or Michael Trevino would be back for the fifth season - which was disappointing to me on both accounts.  To see Jeremy come back was one of the best decisions of the show.  I understand that a lot of people were upset with this, because they feel the death of Jeremy needed to happen for Elena.  I would argue the opposite, why does Elena need to lose everyone in her life?  The show started out with Jeremy and Elena, and I think it should continue on that path - brother/sister relationships are important.  

The sweep of the show was by far the Delena parts.  For once, I feel like Damon and Elena got their due.  Now the question is, how long will this last?  How far into Season 5 can we get until things start messing up?  

A lackluster season 4 ended brilliantly for Delena fans.  Poor Stefan is laying at the bottom of a watering hole, while everyone else achieved happiness.  I refuse to think about anything else except the elation from the episode that ended with happiness for Damon and Elena - FINALLY!  I hope you get more happy moments between the couple.  Season 5 is sure to be an interesting one.  

How My Obsession Began....

I remember exactly what I was doing.  I was searching through Fifty Shades of Grey videos on youtube.  I came across this video of Damon and Elena. 

It was this video that had me hooked.

After this, I had to check this couple out.  I knew little to nothing about the Vampire Diaries.  I am a huge Twilight fan, and knew it was about Vampires.  I was always intrigued, but the time was never right to actually sit down and spend another hour out of my life to watch a show.  I was already hooked on True Blood.  

I realized that Vampire Diaries was on netflix, and I was in luck.  I was staying with my parents over Christmas Break, and they had netflix.  I turned it on over the break, and I was hooked.  I wasn't sure who I liked, because the show was so plot driven.  I always connect with characters, or fall in love with certain characters.  I knew a lot of the actors from watching other shows.  

I knew Ian Somerhalder from a little known movie, Life As A House and Smallville.  Life As A House is one of my all time favorite movies.  I was excited to see him, because I love that movie.  I didn't know if he was a good actor or not - but Vampire Diaries showed me how great he is.  

I knew Paul Wesley from Smallville, and Everwood.  He had small roles on those shows, and I am really good at remembering faces.  He is also a very good actor.  

Matt Davis was in Blue Crush, and one of my all time favorite movies - Legally Blonde.  He slowly became one of my favorites on the show, and I can see he is a fan favorite for everyone else as well.  

Anyways, back to Vampire Diaries.  Season 1 was fascinating - there were so many twists and turns I could barely keep up with analyzing or falling in love with characters because I was too focused on the plot.  

- Who was this Katherine girl?  

- What is this issue between Damon and Stefan?  

- Why is Damon such an ass? 

- Bonnie, why is she so damn cool?  

- Why is Elena the only person Damon is remotely nice to?  

- What are these rings that protect them from the sun?  

- Katherine didn't die?!

- Elena was adopted?  

- Elena's mother is Ric's former wife?  

- John is Elena's father?  

- And many, many, many, many more!  

It was these twists that had me coming back for more, and I remember watching ten episodes in one day on netflix.  I would stay up all night over Christmas Break, and by the beginning of January I had every episode finished seasons 1 - 3.  I had to find Season 4 on Hulu, buying it on itunes, and watching it on reruns during the hiatuses on the CW.  

After recovering from the after shock of so many plot twists, I was able to go back and truly enjoy the characters, and complex stories that are intricately woven within the show.  I still couldn't decide who I really liked.  I liked different characters for different reasons.  

Elena:  She was refreshing to watch, because she had a strong vulnerability to her.  She was sad, and upset - but tough and kind.  She seemed like someone that girls could really view as a role model.  

Stefan:  He was a nice guy.  

Damon:  He's funny, attractive, charming and mysterious.  Not to forget that he has blue eyes to die for, especially for girls who love eyes. You know what I am talking about ladies!

Caroline: She was much harder to like in the beginning, although it was easy to feel sorry for her when Damon used her as his own personal doll toy.  

Bonnie:  What a complete bad ass!  I think in the beginning she had one of the most interesting story lines.  Her innocence was endearing, and she was extremely like able.  

Jeremy:  I always wanted to hug Jeremy, and make everything better for him.  He had such a hard time dealing with his parents death, but he was such a good guy.  

It was still too early to know what to think of Matt, Tyler, and Vicki.  Tyler was extremely difficult to like.  Vickie died too quickly to really get to know her, and set a mindset for the character.  

It didn't take much longer until the characters started developing, and a clear choice was in order.  In fact it was the moment I heard Damon tell Elena, "I will always choose you," that I was completely hooked.  There are certain moments that I loved before, but was still a little unsure because the plot took me through such a massive whirlwind.  

Watching Damon and Elena's relationship blossom throughout season 2, and season 3 was like watching the beginnings of an epic romance unfold.  These two had incredible chemistry.  

After all the ups and downs of season 2 and 3, and sending us Delena fans on a back and forth spiral that was completely unfair - I knew I could never be a Stelena fan.  From the moment he saved Matt over her in the Season 3 finale, I knew I could never ever be Team Stefan.  Team Delena was solidified for me.  

I am hooked now, an ultimate Delena fan.  I made this blog so that I can bring Delena fans together, and have a more common ground.  The Delena sites seem to be more limited in scope.  I hope to add to the fandom, and give all Delena fans a voice.
